New to 2010 and 2012 is the introduction of the mandatory ambassador refresher courses. The refresher course is designed to be hands on and interactive with other ambassadors as well as the regional coordinators in that area. We are holding refresher courses as needed in different regions of the state.

Upcoming Refresher Courses:

Saturday August 21st: Burnett County WI

The Ride Smart program is holding a Trail Patrol Ambassador refresher course and ride in Burnett County on August 21st. This event will feature some review material followed by patrolling with the Burnett County Sheriff Dept. Refresher courses are mandatory for active trail patrol ambassadors. Certified trail ambassadors need to complete one refresher course or retake the training before January 1st, 2013. Credit is given only if you check in at the start time. There are four separate course start times for this weekend. The refresher courses will be hands on and a great way to learn from each other. There will be plenty of opportunity to interact with riders and the general public. Our Regional Coordinators will lead the courses and review critical program functions as well as hands on activities and patrols throughout the day.
